Gunjan and Viral became friends while attending college in India, and both moved to Canada over a decade ago. Gunjan has lived in Edmonton since 2013 and will be in charge of the daily operations for the Sherwood Park spa, with Viral overseeing the upcoming Calgary location. Gunjan’s wife will also be part of the Sherwood Park team and has long understood the value of incorporating massage into her regular self-care routine. “Booking massages for my wife is how I began looking into spas as a business opportunity. It’s still rare to find the combination of massage and facial services in one concept here in Canada. We feel confident the total Hand & Stone wellness experience is going to be a great fit for this community,” Gunjan added.
