No experience, no problem! Our team will teach you everything you need to know about our industry. What we do look for in prospective owners are passionate, driven individuals with a sales or management background. You’ll need to train and motivate staff, manage financials, make decisions about your marketing goals, and be the face of the franchise.

What kind of support and training can I expect as a franchisee?
Hand & Stone offers quite a bit of both to ensure our new owners are fully prepared to run their spa. Six to eight weeks before opening, franchisees will attend our Hand & Stone University for a five-day in-classroom training program. This class is designed for owners as well as managers at no additional charge. Other training includes working in a current location, learning daily tasks like opening and closing, etc.
An operations manager will be on-site at your spa during your pre-opening week to help you set up your business, train your staff, and operate the POS system. They’ll be able to answer any questions you, your managers, or your staff may have.
