Viral and Gunjan both moved to Canada in 2011 after becoming college friends in India. Viral initially lived in Saskatchewan, relocating to Calgary earlier this year to run the daily operations for the spa along with his wife, Yashika Patel. Gunjan oversees the recently opened Sherwood Park location with his wife, Dipti Pandya. He is the one who initially learned about Hand & Stone while booking massages for Dipti, who has long understood the value of incorporating massage into her regular self-care routine. “It’s still rare to find the combination of massage and facial services in one concept here in Canada.
